Anita obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from McGill University in 2010, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in 2014. She articled at a boutique Aboriginal law firm in Calgary and then joined Ackroyd LLP as an associate in 2015.

Anita works primarily for Indian Bands and Métis Settlements in relation to economic development issues. Anita’s main area of interest is Aboriginal consultation and accommodation in the context of natural resource project development. Anita co-authored a paper for the 2015 Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada Convention regarding Aboriginal consultation and accommodation in the mining sector.
