Dennis Roth

Dennis has practiced law in Alberta since 1976 following a career as an educator and administrator in Alberta’s public education system.

Dennis practices primarily in the area of oil and gas and corporate commercial law. He acts for First Nations bands, Métis Settlements, rural property owners, the Farmer’s Advocate, and the Public Trustee, among others. He appears before the Alberta Utilities Commission, the Surface Rights Board, the Environmental Appeal Board, and Indian Oil and Gas Canada. He also appears before all levels of Court in Alberta, including the Court of Appeal.

Dennis is active in several professional associations and has authored and co-authored a number of papers dealing with surface rights law and the law respecting Aboriginal peoples in Alberta. Dennis is also an avid golfer and can be found at the golf course practising his swing on a sunny summer afternoon.
