Marko earned his Juris Doctorate in 2023 and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2024. After completing his articles at a mid-sized firm in Edmonton, he joined Ackroyd LLP. During his articles he gained experience in civil litigation, corporate and commercial law, real estate law, family law, and personal injury law.
Before his articling experience, Marko took on leadership roles at the Student Legal Services of Edmonton, a law student-run non-profit that assists low-income Edmontonians with civil, family, and criminal legal matters. He served as Executive Coordinator of the organization in 2022-2023.
Marko’s practice covers both litigation and solicitor work, focusing on administrative law, civil litigation, corporate and commercial services, employment law, family law, and personal injury law. He values empathy in his approach, ensuring clients feel heard, comfortable, and well-informed about their legal options.
Outside of work, Marko enjoys reading and writing, strength training, hiking, travelling, and exploring Edmonton’s natural spaces like the Mill Creek Ravine.
