Chiamaka earned her law degree in Nigeria in 2015 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2016. She practiced for 7 years in Nigeria where she gained experience in civil litigation, employment law, regulatory practice, transaction advisory, and public policy advisory, before relocating to Canada in 2023.
Chiamaka joined Ackroyd as an articling student in 2024 and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2025. She practises mainly in the areas of business law, regulatory and environmental law, employment law, and civil litigation. Prior to joining Ackroyd, Chiamaka worked as a legal analyst with one of the foremost conservation Charities in Canada.
In her spare time, Chiamaka loves to explore scenic spots, take power walks, try out new recipes and spend time with family and friends.
Chiamaka is fluent in Igbo and conversant in Nigerian Pidgin English
