James (Jim) Cregan, K.C.

Jim joined Ackroyd LLP in 1981, when it was known as Ackroyd Bradley, after having practiced for six years with Milner & Steer. He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2010.

Jim’s practice focuses on real estate, both residential and commercial, and business law matters. He acts for large national corporations with respect to leasing matters for locations in Alberta. He also assists clients with civil litigation matters, including personal injury claims, insurance matters and creditor’s rights.

Jim is fluently bilingual in French and English. He served on the board of WINGS, a housing project for battered women and their children, for over 20 years. He can be found quadding or snowmobiling in his spare time.
